November 30, 2011: BirdRock Asset Management's Small Cap Value portfolio has once again been named an Informa PSN Top Gun performer by the nation's leading Institutional Investment Manager database. BirdRock's Small Cap Value was named by PSN as a Top Gun for the quarter ending 09/30/2011 as well as the one and five-year period.
October 1, 2011: BirdRock Asset Management's Small Cap Value portfolio returned 8.91% for the or the one year period ending September 30, 2011 while its representative benchmark, the Russell 2000 Value dropped -5.99%.
July 31, 2011: BirdRock Asset Management's Small Cap Value portfolio returned 7.14% net for the year to date period ending June 30, 2011. The benchmark Russell 2000 Value returned 3.77% during the same time period. For the one-year period, the composite returns were 36.64% and the benchmark returned 31.35%. The quality and positioning looks attractive in terms of value relative to the benchmark. The Portfolio continues to be relatively concentrated, broadly reflecting both an emphasis on a transition to quality value in the broader market as well as sustainable dividends which complements our investment strategy.
March 31, 2011: BirdRock Asset Management's Small Cap Value portfolio returned 8.13% for the first Quarter 2011. The benchmark Russell 2000 Value returned 6.60% as of 03/31/2011. The portfolio's inception date is January 2004. The portfolio returned 26.51% vs 20.63% for the benchmark over the past one year as of 03/31/2011.
